Design and build scalable, production grade backend systems
Develop robust infrastructure supporting federal, state, and agency regulations
Learn new technologies quickly and apply them to complex problems
Partner closely with Product and Design teams to deliver excellent customer experiences
Build systems used at scale in a highly regulated environment
Qualification
Required
4–6 years of professional software engineering experience
Strong backend engineering experience (frontend focused profiles not considered)
4–6 years of U.S. based experience building production applications at scale
Background in a well known, high growth tech startup (target companies preferred)
Clear career progression and promotions on resume
Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
Experience in one or more of the following: Web applications, Mobile applications, Large scale distributed systems, Infrastructure management
Excellent time management skills in a fast paced startup environment
Preferred
Strong preference for NYC or SF candidates
Remote only for candidates currently employed at a well known fintech
