The role involves operating various manual and CNC machines to produce and repair components, ensuring compliance with MRO/FAA requirements, and supporting troubleshooting and reverse engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

Operate manual mills, lathes and boring mills and other conventional machine tools to produce and repair parts to print
Perform setups, tooling adjustments, and manual operations using jigs, fixtures and dial indicators
Operate CNC mills/lathes for parts runs, repairs and modification work
Perform basic program edits, offsets and troubleshooting to ensure dimensional accuracy
Document work performed in accordance with MRO/FAA requirements and internal QMS processes
Restore worn, damaged or out of tolerance parts using approved repair instructions
Support troubleshooting, reverse engineering and special tooling fabrication
Follow OSHA, FAA and company safety requirements
Abrasive blasting and applying bonding resins and epoxies
Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor

Required

High school diploma/GED required
At least 3 years of experience as Machinist
Fluency in English required
