Responsibilities

Define the long-term vision and roadmap for open banking platform capabilities
Prioritize foundational platform services (e.g., consent management, data normalization, authentication, monitoring)
Balance short-term business demands with long-term platform scalability and reusability
Align platform strategy with enterprise architecture and broader data and payments strategies
Embed compliance, privacy, and security controls directly into platform design
Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Security teams to ensure regulatory readiness
Support audits, regulatory reviews, and risk assessments with clear product artifacts
Own the full lifecycle of open banking APIs and shared platform services
Define API contracts, versioning strategies, documentation standards, and SLAs
Drive consistency across internal and external API consumers
Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Data teams
Translate platform needs into epics, features, and technical requirements
Manage dependencies across multiple teams and portfolios
Drive backlog prioritization with a platform-first mindset
Define and track platform KPIs such as API availability, latency, error rates, data freshness, and adoption
Monitor consent success rates, data quality, and partner performance
Use metrics to drive continuous platform improvements and investment decisions
Partner with operations and SRE teams to ensure platform resilience

Qualification

Required

2-5 years' experience in Product Management, strategy, API engineering, or industry data movement
Strong understanding of enterprise platforms, API ecosystems, integration architectures, and operating model transformation
Experience shaping cross-functional frameworks across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business units
Exceptional executive storytelling capability, with a proven ability to translate complex strategies into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership

Preferred

Experience in industry data sets or standards for B2B information (ANSI X12, FDX, etc.)
Background in large-scale modernization, persistent capacity models, platform rationalization, or M&A integration a strong plus
Familiarity with API productization, domain-driven design, merchant and/or B2B partner integration needs, and capability-driven governance models a strong plus
Experience scaling APIs and creating monetary value from B2B services
