Responsibilities
Greet all guests promptly and professionally with warmth and enthusiasm
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments to ensure smooth service flow
Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and managers regarding table availability and guest needs
Escort guests to tables and provide menus when appropriate
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entry areas
Assist with resetting tables, organizing seating sections, or supporting service teams during busy periods
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor concerns with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary
Uphold American Golf’s service standards, safety protocols, and brand values at all times
Support special events, tournaments, and high-volume service periods as assigned
Qualification
Required
Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a strong customer-first mindset
Ability to stay calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling needs
Preferred
Prior hospitality or guest service experience preferred, but not required
Basic comfort with reservation systems, tablets, or POS platforms is a plus
