Responsibilities
Follow all workplace safety and product quality policies and guidelines
Complete site-specific training related to safety and quality
Receive components or items for assembly and/or testing in programmed sequence
Assemble and/or test mechanical or electrical components using hand and equipment coordination
Assemble minor variations of in-house standard products
Follow clear assembly/test instructions (e.g., color code, PVC thermal welding, thread taping)
Use simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures
Complete required production documentation
Drive continuous improvement processes and conduct daily housekeeping/5S audits
Read and understand simple layout and assembly drawings
Maintain equipment and work area in clean, safe condition
Address internal and external customer needs and expectations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
5–10 years of relevant work experience
Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience, coursework, or related activities
Ability to read and interpret simple layout and assembly drawings
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred
Technical school coursework or training in mechanical assembly
Experience with PVC thermal welding, thread taping, or similar assembly techniques
