Responsibilities
Provide first-line on-site support for advanced metrology systems (optical & surface measurement)
Monitor tool performance and uptime inside a semiconductor fab
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and measurement-related issues
Support new tool installations and ramp-up into production
Work closely with applications specialists and global engineering teams
Help drive long-term process and operational improvements
Qualification
Required
Provide first-line on-site support for advanced metrology systems (optical & surface measurement)
Monitor tool performance and uptime inside a semiconductor fab
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and measurement-related issues
Support new tool installations and ramp-up into production
Work closely with applications specialists and global engineering teams
Help drive long-term process and operational improvements
Strong candidates will come from: Metrology or inspection tools, Optical measurement systems, SEM / surface analysis equipment, Precision instrumentation or motion systems, Lab-to-fab engineering roles, Semiconductor machinery/equipment OEM experience
Team player (non-negotiable)
Comfortable working in a cleanroom fab environment
Hands-on, curious, and technically confident
Customer-focused with a long-term problem-solving mindset
Education: Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Physical Chemistry, or similar
