Electronic Health Records Business Systems Analyst II*

Responsibilities

Evaluate existing business processes/systems/workflows and develop business applications to enhance delivery of electronic health records services
Conduct studies in workflows and technology integration
Manage projects requiring research, analysis, and solution development
Interact with all levels of technical, administrative, and professional staff
Lead a team and assign project tasks to team members

Required

Two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience performing IT business systems analysis or information systems analysis IN A HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENT, including four (4) of the following areas: requirements gathering, end user acceptance testing, process mapping, workflow diagramming, documenting business rules, feasibility studies, and cost/benefit analysis
Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed coursework from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or a closely related field. A list of coursework is required unless you possess a COMPLETED bachelor's degree or higher in a qualifying field
Education Substitution: One (1) year of additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education

Preferred

Hands-on experience solving technical issues, interacting with end users and program developers, and acting in a lead capacity for other technical staff
Providing infrastructure support in an electronic health care system, preferably in a Behavioral Health Care setting
