Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly and sample builds, including:
Mixing chemical formulations
Heating and forming tips on catheter shafts
Applying coatings to catheters
Lubricating guidewires
Photograph, characterize, and prepare samples for conditioning and testing
Conduct quality inspections in accordance with specifications and SOPs
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized equipment and tooling
Follow clearly defined SOPs and scientific methods to ensure high-quality output
Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed
Escalate concerns when observing abnormal results or equipment issues
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of manufacturing assembly experience, preferably with mechanical or chemical processes
Attention to detail and ability to autonomously execute tasks
Ability to read, interpret, and follow written specifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools (e.g., microscopes)
Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime
Preferred
Experience in mechanical build, assembly, or chemical mixing
Experience with medical devices or laboratory equipment
Ability to work in a team environment while independently executing tasks
