Accounting Controller
Confidential Jobs is seeking an Accounting Controller to serve as the senior finance leader for the business. This role is responsible for end-to-end financial management, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary finance partner to business leadership, supporting strategic and operational decision-making
Lead all accounting, controllership, audit, FP&A, and operational finance activities for the business
Own the monthly close process, balance sheet integrity, and financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and corporate policies
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis, clearly communicating key drivers, risks, and opportunities
Manage cost accounting, gross margin analysis, inventory accounting, and cost of goods sold reporting
Develop and deliver meaningful KPI dashboards and management reporting for sales and operations
Partner with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to drive cost reduction, margin improvement, and cash flow optimization
Lead external audit activities and maintain strong internal controls
Drive effective ERP utilization and continuous improvement of finance processes and systems
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of accounting and finance professionals
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA, CMA, and/or MBA strongly preferred
Strong experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing finance
Demonstrated ownership of P&L and balance sheet responsibilities
Proven experience partnering with senior operational and commercial leaders

Public accounting experience preferred but not required
