Responsibilities
Manage a team of Data architects specializing in functional Design
Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
Guide development of actionable roadmaps in collaboration with business and technology partners
Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third-party providers
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals
Lead team to achieve objectives
Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
Represent CCIBT at the Bank's central CDO team's governance forums
Liaise between CDO and Technology and Business partners
Influence Technology and Business partners towards better Data Architecture practice and designs
Strongly focused on the Business value of Data Architecture
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Qualification
Required
8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management or leadership experience
Preferred
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field
Proven experience in data architecture, data modeling, and analytics
Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and ETL processes
Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience with data governance and regulatory compliance is a plus
