Responsibilities
You support the development, testing, and deployment of production-ready software features
You help debug and enhance existing applications, automate manual processes, and participate in Agile development activities
You collaborate with teammates to integrate software into operational environments, contribute to documentation, and follow established CI/CD workflows
You gain exposure to both on-prem and cloud-based systems while strengthening core software engineering skills
Qualification
Required
Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus 2 years of software engineering experience
OR 4 years of software engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
Experience working in Linux environments using command-line tools
Experience writing Bash and Python scripts to automate manual processes
Software development experience using languages such as C, C++, and Java
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
Experience using Git for source control
Exposure to Agile development practices and collaborative engineering workflows
Preferred
Experience with modern web frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular
Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, or containerd
Experience using the Atlassian tool suite including Jira and Confluence
Exposure to AWS cloud services and cloud-hosted application deployments
