Responsibilities

Monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network
Monitors all network activity
Monitor and maintain critical IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and cooling systems
Perform routine reporting and maintenance tasks for infrastructure alerts, troubleshooting, and system upgrades
Respond to alerts and take action to mitigate downtime or outages, ensuring optimal performance
Document procedures and log incidents into a tracking system, ensuring accountability and efficiency
Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless operation of IT systems
Performs first- and/or second-level problem determination
Supplements first level Service Desk after hours and as needed
Hosts meetings for critical changes, high priority issues, as well as Major Incidents
Authors consistent, concise, and accurate information through approved templates
Interfaces with users and/or network vendors
Responsible providing technical support for LAN/WAN or for a section of a larger network
May perform installation, modification and testing of network

Required

Associates Degree and 4 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelors and 2 years of relevant experience
Technical skills and experience related to cloud networking
Effective interpersonal skills, and strong briefing and writing skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment with little supervision
Hands On Experience ServiceNow, SCOM, Solarwinds, Zscaler support, Azure Network
Certification Current Network and ITIL 4 certifications
Experience with a Federal or Government Agency
