Responsibilities

Deliver safe and effective nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
Provide care to post-surgical and general medical patient populations
Manage diverse surgical cases including abdominal, colorectal, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, orthopedic, and trauma overflow
Support women’s health and obstetric-related medical complications when required
Float to other compatible units as needed
Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
Maintain strong communication with multidisciplinary teams
Adapt to frequent patient assignment changes during shifts
Follow hospital clinical standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols

Qualification

Active RN LicenseBLS CertificationMed/Surg experienceEpic EMR experienceNursing processFloatCommunication skills

Required

Active RN License
BLS Certification
Minimum 2+ years recent Med/Surg experience
Epic EMR experience within the last year
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Ability to float across units
Block scheduling not permitted
Solid black scrubs required per facility policy
