Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly and sample builds for medical devices
Mix chemical formulations according to defined protocols
Operate specialized equipment and tooling to:
+ Heat-form tips on catheter shafts
+ Apply coatings to catheters
+ Apply lubrication to guidewires
Photograph, characterize, and document samples
Prepare samples for conditioning and testing
Execute build, characterization, and preparation activities after training by engineering staff
Perform fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices
Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
Conduct quality inspections in accordance with established specifications
Work within clearly defined SOPs and scientific methods
Identify and report abnormalities, equipment issues, or non-conforming conditions to prevent defects
Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience
Ability to read, write, interpret, and follow specifications in English
Basic math skills
Ability to use measurement tools such as microscopes
Effective communication skills with coworkers and supervisors
Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred
Mechanical assembly and manufacturing experience
Experience with chemical mixing or formulation processes
Medical device, regulated manufacturing, or laboratory experience preferred
