Responsibilities
Create Custom Medications Compound unique formulations including capsules, oral liquids, topical creams, troches, suppositories, and more
Label & Prepare Prescriptions Accurately fill, label, and prepackage medications for pharmacist verification and patient use
Maintain Inventory & Safety Standards Monitor chemical stock, receive supplies, manage safety documentation (SDS, Certificates of Analysis), and handle hazardous materials safely
Keep the Lab Clean & Compliant Perform routine cleaning and environmental monitoring to ensure the lab meets all regulatory standards
Opportunity to Rotate into Sterile Lab Gain hands-on exposure to sterile compounding techniques and expand your pharmaceutical skill set
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Attention to Detail is a must
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Standards for quality, cleanliness and safety must be consistently met
Must be collaborative and able to perform as part of a team
Knowledge of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures
Ability to take direction and be coached
Must be able to learn applicable regulations and adhere to them at all times
Ability to read, write, and perform simple math
Preferred
Compounding laboratory experience a plus, but not required
Pharmacy Technician Registration/Certification a plus
Knowledge of applicable pharmacy software(s) a plus
