Responsibilities

Define and establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Predict and allocate resources effectively to meet project goals, ensuring optimal utilization
Develop comprehensive project budgets based on scope and resource requirements, and track costs to stay within budget constraints
Create and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans, adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including strategy, progress, and any necessary adjustments
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, assigning tasks, and communicating deliverables clearly
Implement industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and make adjustments to ensure successful completion
Measure and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Collaborate effectively with clients, sales, engineering teams, and other relevant departments
Work independently, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness in problem-solving and decision-making
Complete tasks accurately, on schedule, and maintain professional communication at all times

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology
1 to 5 years of relevant project management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Proficiency with project management software tools such as Microsoft Project
Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to overcoming challenges
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
