Responsibilities
Contribute to the achievement of operational objectives for the underwriting function and/or business unit
Perform underwriting activities following all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met
Provide efficient and timely service to brokers and clients
Evaluate risk for new business following standards, to ensure profitable growth
Motivate and develop the team by demonstrating good leadership behaviours and management best practices
Qualification
Required
Significant underwriting experience
Established customer and broker relationships
Significant production underwriting experience
Established customer and broker relationships with a focus on major trading partners
Preferred
Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
