Regional Procurement Manager

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Principal Procurement Analyst to lead high-impact, global procurement initiatives. The role involves driving end-to-end execution of complex sourcing events, managing stakeholder relationships, and advancing procurement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead global procurement and logistics initiatives, managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships
Build and sustain strategic partnerships focused on cost savings, value creation, and innovative service offerings
Own customer and carrier transitions, including coordination with transportation management system providers
Deliver benchmarking, KPI analysis, and executive-level business reviews for customers and carriers
Direct cross-functional, global project teams, securing resources, alignment, and stakeholder commitment
Develop statements of work, drive customer sign-off, and secure repeat business opportunities
Facilitate project targets, manage scope, risks, and issues, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Advance procurement methodologies, tools, infrastructure, and presentation standards
Partner with sales, account management, and product teams to support growth and new service development

Required

High school diploma or GED
Minimum 6 years of previous procurement experience

Preferred

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Previous project management experience leading global projects
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to the appropriate global audience
Lead cross‑functional teams without formal authority, effectively influencing and partnering to drive results
Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, including senior leaders
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills with proven business acumen
