Program Director Advanced Pain Management Fellowship Non-Tenure Track

The Program Director for the Advanced Pain Management Fellowship will lead a nationally focused fellowship, engage in scholarly activities, mentor graduate nursing students, and contribute to the overall mission of the College of Nursing.

Teach in the CRNA Program
Engage in scholarly activity
Mentor graduate nursing students
Contribute to college, university, community, and professional service in alignment with the university’s criteria for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank
Lead a nationally focused fellowship that prepares highly skilled nurse anesthesiologists to perform advanced pain management procedures
Foster innovation, clinical excellence, and high-quality educational outcomes
Commit to teaching, program leadership, and continuous improvement
Engage in scholarly activity and service consistent with assigned effort and academic rank
Bring experience in curriculum development, trainee mentorship, interdisciplinary collaboration, and recruitment of high-caliber fellows from across the United States
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor (Non-tenure Track)
Must hold, or be eligible for, licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Florida by the start date
Must hold national certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Must hold Non-Surgical Pain Management Certification (NSPM-C)
Ability to contribute to teaching, scholarly activity, and service consistent with a non-tenure-track faculty appointment
Preferred
Prior experience directing or coordinating an academic, clinical, or fellowship program
Demonstrated experience teaching or mentoring graduate-level or post-graduate trainees
Experience with curriculum development, assessment, and program evaluation in advanced practice or pain management education
Evidence of scholarly activity related to pain management, anesthesia practice, or healthcare education
Experience recruiting, supervising, and evaluating trainees or fellows
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary clinical teams and academic partners
Experience with accreditation, regulatory compliance, or quality improvement in academic or clinical programs
