Responsibilities
Training and Development of IE's
Lead and manage IE’s daily
Generate and drive improvements based on data analysis utilizing various tools
Kaizen's
SMED's
Micro stoppage reduction
Downtime reduction
Labor utilization
Throughput (OLE) Improvement
Lead the development and upkeep of Man assignments for all operations
Submit reports as required on a timely basis
Work with corresponding SPW Pillar Leads
Ensure SPW tools and methodologies are followed as part of everyday work
Support Budget and Business Plan development once per calendar year
Conduct special studies as requested by IE Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Minimum 5 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience with time and motion studies, development of standardized work, manpower estimation, and standard data
Must understand manufacturing systems and demonstrate the ability to apply throughput management process techniques and assess equipment capacity
Strong skill set in root cause analysis, practical problem-solving and Data collection and analysis
Demonstrate the ability to learn new things, understand current process and develop new or improved methods/processes
Practical knowledge and understanding of traditional lean manufacturing systems
Basic knowledge of Stellantis Production Way (SPW) principles
Ability to lead a team and give clear directions
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills
Preferred
Degree in Industrial Engineering
At least 1 year of Supervisory experience
MTM-UAS or MODAPTS certification
Experience working in a union environment
Knowledge/experience with AutoCAD
