Responsibilities
Coordinate, develop and implement community-based supported living program for disabled adults
Oversee and coordinate Supported Living Services for the I/DD adults
Work directly with individuals who have potentially aggressive behaviors
Perform general administrative duties such as documentation and reports
Supervise field staff and conduct on-site assessments for incoming clients
Develop and implement numerous plans, goals, and celebrations for clients
Implement crisis intervention plans and write therapeutic treatment plans
Conduct quality assurance checks and meet high-supervisory tasks
Qualification
Required
At least three (3) years experience working directly with individuals who have Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD population)
At least three (3) years experience working directly with individuals who have regular and consistent behavioral challenges, including physical aggression, elopement, self-injurious behaviors, and other challenges
At least two (2) years of supervisory and budgetary/finance experience
Understanding of Supported Living Services (SLS) as well as the Medi-Cal system
Computer and driving skills, including the use of standard electronics, computer and database systems
Being a licensed and insured driver with a clean driving record (no excessive points, and no DUIs/wet-and-reckless in the past 10 years)
Preferred
Educational background (BA/MA) in a related field, such as Psychiatry or Social Work
