Demand Response IT Platform & Data Senior Specialist
Con Edison is one of the largest demand response teams in the country, focused on managing dispatchable distributed energy resources to alleviate electric grid demand. The Demand Response IT Platform & Data Senior Specialist will support the functionality of the Demand Response Management Systems (DRMS), overseeing project management, software development, and data management to enhance the company’s demand response programs.

Responsibilities
Perform software project development, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and quality assurance of Con Edisons DRMS
Develop and maintain business requirement documents, processes, procedures, project schedules, and project budgets
Support the demand response strategy and operations teams by providing software support, managing significant operational data within DRMS, measuring and reporting on program performance, and reporting on software functionality
Identify and implement software solutions that comply with regulatory and internal standards, improve software functionality and customer experience, and reduce operational burden while maintaining project cost withing budget
Ensure quality and completeness of interval data imported by DRMS; develop and employ quality control processes to ensure quality and completeness of DRMS data outputs
Support program management, including analyzing, monitoring, and tracking project d schedule and costs
Prepare and present information on program status to senior management and other internal and external audiences
Support other administrative and analytical aspects of program operations, including customer enrollment processing, settlements processing, customer and vendor communications, reporting, data management, and quality control
Commit to the ideals of developing a proactive, customer-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among customers (both internal and external) and improve value for all our stakeholders
Participate in the on-call roster during the summer (electric) capability period
Perform other related tasks and assignments as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant work experience or
Master's Degree and 2 years of relevant work experience
Experience supporting implementation of IT projects or large capital projects, including budget and financials, required
Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple work streams in parallel and be able to see the big picture while also paying attention to detail, required
Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to drive results by collaborating with internal and externals stakeholders, required
Ability to make decisions in real-time, under pressure, required
Flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic environment, required
Demonstrated a service orientated work ethic with experience in managing multiple tasks and changing priorities, required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), required
Driver's License Required
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Studies, or related field and 3 years of relevant work experience
Master's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Studies, or related field and 2 years of relevant work experience
Experience working with large volumes of data, data management, data cleaning, and quality control, preferred
Knowledge or work experience with utility energy efficiency and demand side management programs, preferred
Familiarity with demand response and how electricity is distributed to customers, preferred
Experience managing vendor, consultant, and contractor activities, preferred
Experience with agile management practices, preferred
