Responsibilities
Greet and register patients, answer and direct phone calls, verify patient demographic and insurance information, update computer files
Preparation of clinical forms needed for new patient consults & follow-up appointments
Schedule patient appointments, and coordinate appointments between physicians, residents, physicists, and technicians, as needed
Demonstrates competence in computer applications such as Epic, Mosaiq and Microsoft applications
Utilize effective communication skills to incorporate Corewell Health standards while providing service to patients, colleagues, other departments and physician offices
Copies/collates/staples/faxes/scans documents and correspondence for clinical staff delivery of patient care in the electronic medical record; Epic and Mosaiq
Prepares medical record for release, in accordance with policy and procedure
Participates in departmental special projects
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
1 year of relevant experience 1-2 years in a clinical office setting
