Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
Integrate behavioral interventions into the overall plan of care to reduce behavioral escalation and the use of restraint and seclusion
Train and supervise BCBA trainees in accordance with BACB requirements and Joint Commission expectations
Provide education and consultation to inpatient staff, medical providers, and parents or caregivers
Participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives through data collection and outcome monitoring
Qualification
Required
Masters in Psychology, Social Work or Applied Behavior Analysis
3 yrs
Board Certified Behavior Analyst ( BCBA ) License
Sitting for extended periods in direct patient care as well as at a computer workstation
May lift items up to 25 lbs on occasion
Completion of Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Applied Behavior Analysis is required
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst ( BCBA ) License is required
Minimum of one year of experience is required
Preferred
Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education AND Current Board Certification as a Behavioral Analyst
