Responsibilities
Plan and run MCLE‑accredited programs while meeting California State Bar requirements
Handle all event logistics—venues, speaker communication, sponsorships, and day‑of support
Work closely with volunteer leaders and internal teams to create engaging programs and networking opportunities
Manage event registration, help with marketing efforts, and gather feedback after events
Support large-scale SDCBA events and special projects from start to finish
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in hospitality or in a similar area of study
3–5 years of event coordination experience, including higher‑end or signature events
At least 5 years of strong, professional customer service experience
Excellent organization, multitasking, and attention to detail
Great communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude
Comfortable using databases and online platforms like Member Central
Someone who can stay calm, professional, and flexible—even when plans change last minute
Able to help with event setup and teardown
Able to lift 25+ pounds (alone or with help)
Comfortable standing or sitting for long periods
Event planning: 3 years
Customer service: 3 years
