Build and Mature Engineering Culture: Develop a high-performing team that embraces continuous learning, innovation, domain expertise, quality, and accountability
Partner Across Teams: Collaborate with leadership, product management, and stakeholders to define technical vision and ensure alignment with business objectives
Lead Strategic Transformation: Drive modernization of platforms and processes, reducing onboarding complexity and infrastructure management while aligning with long-term technology roadmaps
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted partner by understanding business needs deeply and influencing progress through technical expertise
Mentor and Grow Leaders: Coach engineering managers and technical staff, fostering leadership and technical depth
Advance Technical Excellence: Oversee design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-quality software solutions. Enforce best practices in architecture, development, and quality
Performance Management: Establish clear goals, metrics, and accountability for team performance and delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
High technical acumen. Ability to influence technical strategy beyond immediate team scope
Experience: 12+ years in software engineering, with at least 7+ years in leadership roles managing large, distributed teams
Leadership: Ability to lead through change, build a product mindset, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability
Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-scale software projects on time and within budget
Technical Expertise: Python, Spark, API development, Data Warehousing concepts, ETL patterns, SQL
Deep understanding of cloud services and DevOps practices
Communication: Exceptional ability to engage stakeholders, influence decisions, and articulate complex technical concepts clearly
Preferred
Master's degree
Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Experience with healthcare data, especially medical claims
Strong background in software engineering, architecture, and system integration
