Responsibilities
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close
Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP
Strengthen internal controls and refine accounting policies
Manage audit processes and collaborate with external auditors
Support budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
Provide leadership with insights that inform operational and strategic decisions
Improve reporting processes, systems, and workflows
Qualification
Required
CPA required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Background in public accounting or corporate accounting (public + industry mix welcome)
Strong technical accounting skills
Advanced Excel; ERP experience helpful
Clear communicator with the confidence to partner with leadership
Preferred
Experience in manufacturing, energy, utilities, or distribution is a plus—not required
