Responsibilities
Develop growth strategies, run experiments, and build features across our products that directly move the metrics that matter most to our business
Own the full growth funnel: SEO, SEM, and AEO, activation experiments, signup and onboarding flows, in-app messaging, and conversion optimization
Collaborate extensively with leadership to transform business opportunities into measurable growth initiatives, use data to direct strategies, and report numbers out to the entire business
Vibe prototypes, run A/B tests, and ship features that bring your growth ideas to life
Take on projects such as a deep dive into how homeowners use LLMs for home upgrade projects, create an experience for prospective customers to estimate the cost of their HVAC project, or optimize email, text, and in-app messaging
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience across a range of languages, frameworks, and cloud environments
Entrepreneurial and experimental mindset with the ability to find areas for growth and develop solutions
Ability to run many experiments and focus on real results over perfect designs
Generalist engineer with discerning standards, capable of owning projects from beginning to end
Data-driven approach, obsessing over usage data and leveraging it to guide work
Ability to calculate significance and understand what metrics matter
Detail-oriented systems thinker with an understanding of user needs in a larger context
Pragmatic and experienced team leader, ready to manage and develop a small team of growth-focused engineers
Enthusiastic about in-person work and engaging in healthy debates with teammates
Willingness to live within 50 miles of Denver, CO or relocate
Preferred
Experience at early-stage startups and/or a previous technical founder
Strong product and design sensibility—ability to make UX decisions independently
Experience with product analytics platforms
Strong math background or practical data science experience
Experience in climate tech
