Night Utility

Hawaiian Host Group is seeking a Night Utility worker to assist in production and packaging lines. The role involves forming and loading shipping cartons, providing logistical support, and ensuring a smooth production process while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Forms and loads shipping cartons; manually stacks and moves cased products
Provides logistical support for all production and packaging activities
Weighs, loads, mixes, and cooks ingredients to prepare candy and related products
Stacks and pallets products to finish-packaging line
Understands and works safely with heavy equipment, including but not limited to various pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and forklifts
Collaborates with other employees to ensure smooth production with no interruptions in the supply of needed items throughout the day
Cleans factory areas and provides janitorial and maintenance support as needed
Assists with off-season cleaning
Performs all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with company policies and procedures
Regular attendance is required for the position

Required

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience/training is required
Must provide Tuberculosis (TB) certificate from a valid medical provider as required by the State of Hawaii, Department of Health
Strong ability to understand and follow directions
Ability to understand and follow directions accurately
Ability to reach, grasp, and handle tasks at a machine-paced level of activity
Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English at a high school level
