Responsibilities

Lead and manage a variety of geotechnical engineering projects, both municipal and private development, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion
Supervise field investigations, including the use of our own drill rig, and direct laboratory testing to determine geotechnical parameters
Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports with geotechnical design and construction recommendations, based on project requirements, field investigation, and laboratory determinations
Oversee construction inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical and other field related specifications. Provide on-site observation of critical or unique geotechnical and heavy civil construction
Engage in a balanced mix of field and office work to support project requirements

Qualification

Geotechnical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseProject ManagementEngineering software proficiencyCommunication skillsTeamwork skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a closely related field
5+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
Proficient in engineering software and tools
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
