This position will be responsible for analyzing financial information, assessing credit risk for new and existing commercial loan relationships, and providing loan approval recommendations to senior staff.

Responsibilities
Assists in gathering required information on loans
Order credit reports and D&B reports
Assist with risk rating changes and other commercial loan maintenance, as needed
Analyze financial statements and other credit information
Assist Lenders by completing written analysis for new and existing commercial loan customers, including line of credit renewals
Ability to interact directly with clients and prospects on financial matters related to the respective credits, and on occasion join commercial loan officer on customer calls
Analyze the general market and industry, the borrower’s financial information to determine financial condition, trends, repayment ability, collateral support, and guarantor support
Identify strengths and weaknesses with each credit and make recommendations for appropriate risk ratings in accordance with Commercial Loan Policy
Annually review the credit quality of designated loans in the Bank’s existing commercial loan portfolio, to include review of current financial information, repayment ability, and adherence to covenant requirements
Make recommendations and implement credit rating changes as approved by Senior Management
Perform special projects and assist credit officer as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Account, Business or related fields
1-3 years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience
Strong financial statement and cash flow analysis skills
Knowledge of commercial lending structures and risk assessment
Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software
