Analyst - SUD Workforce Programs

Responsibilities

Support the work of the Workforce/Access Section
Work closely with the Office of the Chief Medical Executive - Michigan Opioids Task Force & Strategy
Assist with the Michigan Opioid Treatment Access Loan Repayment Program (MIOTA) expansion and daily operations of program
Manage the daily operations of the SUD Internship and SUD Scholarship programs
Work with program participants and employers to execute contracts for program participants
Award SUD workforce contracts and track program funds
Provide program promotion and marketing to program stakeholders
Maintain program selection criteria, application process and payment process
Assist with various MIOTA and SUD workforce programs activities like data input and analysis, creating reports, drafting correspondence, and developing presentations
Develop and recommend alternative strategies to address and resolve a variety of programmatic issues
Evaluates documents and/or applications for possible inclusion in programs; determines compatibility with the objects and priorities of the Workforce/Access Section
Conduct research and analysis, data collection and maintenance
Prepare various formal reports and/or briefings
Present information to internal and external groups
Always represent the best interests of MDHHS and MPHI

Required

A bachelor's degree in a related field required
Ability to analyze, synthesize and evaluate a variety of data for use in program development and analysis
Ability to organize, evaluate and present information effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to learn and utilize computer processes
Ability to work well with others on a team, work independently, and multi-task within tight deadlines
Knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint; Adobe Acrobat

Preferred

2-3 years of experience in this field
