Responsibilities
Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables
Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
Qualification
Required
Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Dremio or experience with virtualization, federation, semantic layers
ETL tools – Ab Initio (preferred), Informatica, DataStage
SQL
Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata
Data analysis, modeling and design (for data engineering candidates)
Demonstrated experience with supporting and tuning large, enterprise-class data environments
Modern Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Data Lakehouse architectures
Technical leadership and guidance for data modernization, re-engineering, migration or re-platforming efforts
Demonstrated experience, at-scale, with modern data platforms, tools and patterns (e.g., Python, Spark, Iceberg, GCP, Azure)
Demonstrated experience leading the design and target state implementation of modern data platforms, including utilization of automation, setting of standards and pattern usage
