Buyer Summer Associate (Intern)

They are looking for a proactive Summer Associate to support the Warehouse Replenishment Buyer role, ensuring product availability and operational excellence during a system upgrade and testing phase.

Responsibilities
Review forecasts and generate accurate purchase orders to vendors to maintain optimal inventory levels
Monitor and follow up on late shipments and resolve shortages to minimize disruption
Participate in special projects to improve processes and support team goals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the system upgrade and testing period to ensure seamless operations
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Logistics, Finance, Marketing or a related field
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, time management organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Energetic and eager to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in supply chain, procurement, or warehouse replenishment
Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
Familiarity with inventory management systems and forecasting tools
