Associate Director, Programs
Black Feminist Future (BFF) is an initiative focused on amplifying the power of Black women and girls in organizing for the 21st century. The Associate Director of Programs will drive the implementation of BFF's organizing strategy, focusing on base building, program development, and community engagement to cultivate an engaged base of Black feminist leaders.

Responsibilities
Leading and integrating a Black Feminist analysis into programming, and our community and civic engagement
Oversee the programs teams (which includes the membership, programs, and organizing), and the execution of their projects with clear deliverables and timelines
Supporting base building initiatives and projects, and execution, and ensuring coordinated implementation across activities and locations
Act as operational and strategic partner to the senior director
Ensure team accountability and performance tracking against objectives
Identify gaps and implement solutions to increase efficiency, including staffing, workflows, and communications
People management of the PB Transformative Programs and Organizing teams
Provide execution and oversight of BFF Transformative Programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational strategy and compliance
Oversee the development of BFF place-based and virtual chapters and membership leadership, growth, and development
Organize high-impact events, actions, and blitzes, ensuring strong community and member participation
Provide support to BFF’s AB+ Plug programming and increasing training participants
Strengthen and expand BFF’s Membership Program, including our Member Governance Body, Member Congress, member political education, and equipping 200+ members with leadership development tools
Launch and manage base building initiatives and projects in targeted communities, including Mechanicsville, Atlanta, GA,. Goal include 200+ BFF member-hosted house parties
Engagement with 1,000 Mechanicsville community members
Pilot transformative interventions
Launch place-based and virtual chapters with leadership structures and support systems
Develop and provide guidance to the Member Governance Body, Member Congress, and other member leadership bodies
Develop and manage the Power Building–Programs (Programs and Organizing teams) staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and leadership development
Provide guidance to staff in organizing, base building, and constituency building strategies
Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Power Building and other PB Departmental staff to ensure alignment between programmatic execution and broader organizational strategy
Evaluate program outcomes and community impact, iterating strategies to ensure continuous growth and effectiveness
Qualification
Required
High-level experience in campaign management or organizing
Ability to operate independently and take ownership of complex projects
Strong judgment and maturity to navigate organizational challenges
Experience leading or managing a team
Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
