InternMetroNational is offering a structured, paid Accounting Internship designed for students to connect classroom knowledge with hands-on application. Interns will support accounting and financial operations while participating in professional development and networking opportunities.

Responsibilities
Assist with daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting activities such as reconciliations, data validation, invoice processing, or journal entries
Support the preparation and review of financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation
Help organize and analyze financial data to support audits, budgeting, or forecasting
Partner with team members to research discrepancies, review supporting evidence, and maintain accurate records
Participate in process improvement activities or special projects as assigned
Document your work clearly and present a summary of your contributions at the end of the program
Qualification
Required
Enrollment in an accredited college or university majoring in Accounting or a related field
Enrollment in or recent completion of an accredited accounting or bookkeeping trade/technical program
Completion of a recognized accounting certificate program (ex: bookkeeping certificate, financial accounting bootcamp)
All applicants must submit a transcript or program record, demonstrating: Minimum 3.2 GPA for college/university students, or Equivalent performance evaluation for trade school or certificate programs
Must commit to full-time, on-site participation for all 8 weeks (June 1 – July 31, 2026)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
