Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of shipping and receiving personnel
Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met
Train team members on ERP systems, safety protocols, and shipping procedures
Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and resolve conflicts promptly
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate priorities and updates
Oversee accurate receiving of purchase orders into ERP (D365) and proper storage of finished goods
Ensure correct packing, labeling, and documentation for all outgoing shipments (BOL, CI, packing lists)
Schedule pickups and manage carrier communications
Verify shipping paperwork and compliance with ISO 13485 standards
Operate forklifts and assist with loading/unloading as needed
Maintain dock and warehouse organization
Identify and address non-conforming parts or packages
Ensure adherence to safety rules and hazardous material handling procedures
Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3–5 years in shipping/receiving, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Proficiency in ERP systems and shipping software
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to interpret and enforce safety and operational procedures
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate warehouse equipment
