Responsibilities
May work with a variety of chemicals or come in contact with chemicals. Must wear the appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety instructions and dispose of chemicals appropriately
Take out stay bolts from the ring on the root of the blade
Certified employees use crane to remove ring and put in designated cart
Clean up inside the blade after working
Insert plugs into bushings around the root to avoid dust in the bushing
Apply ‘Danger Confined Space’ signs to the root of the blade
Two individuals place donut inside the blade utilizing sika
Certified employees’ utilization of the sika machine
Use of hand tools/scraper to even out sika that is applied to the edge of the donut
Certified root grinder utilize crane to place root grinding machine onto the root of the blade
May use the following tools:
Vacuum
Soap and Water mixture
Acetone and Alcohol
Rackets for donut placement
Air bags
Qualification
Required
Detail oriented to accurately setup and operate machine according to engineering specifications
Excellent communication skills for communicating with shift leadership and coworkers
Possess mechanical aptitude
Basic math skills
Ability to operate basic hand tools
Ability to operate power tools
Ability to operate heavy machinery
Computer literacy
Preferred
6 months of manufacturing experience
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
