Revenue Cycle Manager

Ascension is a leading nonprofit Catholic health system dedicated to reimagining healthcare. The Revenue Cycle Manager will coordinate payor meetings, serve as a liaison between stakeholders and payors, and track action items to ensure effective outcomes.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end coordination of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc payor meetings
Develop standardized agendas and payor logs
Facilitate meetings to ensure focused discussion, clear escalation, and action-oriented outcomes
Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and payor representatives. Document meeting minutes, commitments, and agreed-upon timelines
Track payor action items and internal responsibilities to closure
Escalate unresolved or high-risk issues to leadership as appropriate
Measure and report outcomes tied to meeting discussions (cash acceleration, recoveries, denial reductions)

Certified Coding SpecialistHealthcare experienceData analysisLeadership experienceCommunication skills

Required

Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed
High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience

Preferred

Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
3 years of leadership or management experience
5+ years of healthcare experience
5+ years of data analysis
