We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Reservoir Engineering Specialist. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity and compliance of the BlueWater Gas Storage facility, including engineering design and support for well drilling and abandonment operations, monitoring storage inventories, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Engineering design and support of well drilling and well abandonment operations
Engineering support for projects and maintenance activities
Assist in monitoring and tracking storage inventories
Monitor and track integrity of wells and reservoir (API 1171)
Monitor and oversee workovers and well logging
Compile and interpret data, maintain records
Work closely with Management to maintain compliance regarding PHMSA Regulations (Storage Integrity & CFR part 192) as well as Environmental and Safety
Provide support for audits and inspections

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline with five years of engineering/project management experience will be accepted

Preferred

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Geological, Chemical, Mechanical)
2+ years of experience in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
2+ years of gas storage experience
