Responsibilities

Accurate creation of new jobs based on shortages and/or contract direction
Timely support of the Contracts Department by gathering and reporting scheduling and expedite requests to support customer needs and requirements
Monitor and report manufacturing schedules as needed to ensure sales order schedules are maintained and supported
Address shop floor scheduling issues as they arise and coordinate with Engineering, Contracts, Purchasing, and Quality to drive resolution
Additional program management responsibilities as assigned

Required

Candidates must possess strong work ethic and problem solving skills
Drug test and background check required
Accurate creation of new jobs based on shortages and/or contract direction
Timely support of the Contracts Department by gathering and reporting scheduling and expedite requests to support customer needs and requirements
Monitor and report manufacturing schedules as needed to ensure sales order schedules are maintained and supported
Address shop floor scheduling issues as they arise and coordinate with Engineering, Contracts, Purchasing, and Quality to drive resolution
Additional program management responsibilities as assigned
Process-, procedure-, and quality-minded
Understanding of shop processes, including process flow and best practices throughout the product lifecycle
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, Office, and PowerPoint
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and specifications
Basic math skills, including calculations involving ratios, volume, and weight
Basic understanding of quality procedures and requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Standing, squatting, kneeling, bending, and walking (up to 500 yards)
Short periods of exposure to hot or cold temperatures
Short periods of exposure to outdoor elements, including temperature, humidity, and precipitation
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves

Preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment
Ability to prepare and publish written reports for customers and/or management
