Responsibilities
Ensure Safe Battery Changes for our associates operating equipment
Use maintenance software systems to log work orders, track performance metrics, and ensure accountability
Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
Assist with or learn to maintain other facility systems, including: Fire suppression systems, Overhead doors, dock plates, and levelers, Facility lighting and electrical systems, Battery changer equipment and charging stations, Warehouse racking and safety systems
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance work area
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about repairs and equipment needs
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, diagrams, and schematics
Willingness to learn and support other warehouse maintenance systems, such as fire suppression, doors, dock equipment, racking, lighting, and battery handling
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to safely operate tools and powered equipment
Preferred
Experience with battery changer systems or battery room safety
Experience using CMMS or digital work order systems
Certifications related to MHE repair, electrical safety, or equipment operation
OSHA training or other safety-related certifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
