Horizontal Talent is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in a life insurance environment. This role involves collaborating on AWS services, managing cloud environments, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Collaborate in the rollout and maintenance of AWS services integral to insurance operations and data management

Work under senior engineers to establish Infrastructure as Code practices using tooling like Terraform

Manage cloud environments to align with strict security and compliance standards in the sector

Monitor AWS resources, troubleshooting issues to meet customer service expectations

Engage actively in deploying internal applications through CI/CD workflows

Generate thorough documentation for audits, incident management, and regulatory needs

Partner with cross-functional teams on security and compliance to ensure governance standards

Pursue skill development through mentorship and training in cloud technologies

Qualification

Required

Basic knowledge of AWS core services or relevant certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner

Experience managing Linux or Windows servers within secure settings

Eager to advance cloud engineering expertise in a regulated industry

Preferred

Practical AWS experience, ideally involving enterprise security or regulated data
