Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and post orders
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including offices, common areas, and exterior perimeters, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors, deliveries, and contractors according to site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and supporting emergency response activities as directed by site policy
Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate security-related information to supervisors and site contacts
Qualification
Required
An active DoD Secret clearance is required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred
