The Teller will provide exceptional service to members while efficiently processing a variety of financial transactions and maintaining positive member relationships.

Responsibilities
Uphold and represent Credit Union of Georgia brand standards by consistently delivering the member JournEASE experience through Engage, Ask, Solve, and Excite, providing exceptional service at every interaction
Process member transactions efficiently and accurately while answering questions regarding Credit Union products and services and directing members to the appropriate department when needed
Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers
Post transactions to member accounts and maintain accurate member records in accordance with Teller Standards, requiring minimal assistance from supervisors or coworkers
Complete operational tasks including ordering checks, processing cash advances, IRA withdrawals, monetary instruments, ATM/debit cards, and Currency Transaction Reports
Balance cash drawer and daily transactions with minimal discrepancies, in accordance with Teller Standards
Perform miscellaneous duties such as scanning checks, filing, data entry, assisting members with the coin sorter, and answering incoming calls
Promote and recommend Credit Union products and services to meet member needs and support organizational growth
Maintain current knowledge of Credit Union policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Complete all required training within designated timeframes
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
1+ years practical work experience
High school diploma or GED required
All employees must complete annual training modules including but not limited to cyber security, bank secrecy act as well as other compliance and regulatory requirements
Preferred
Cash handling and/or customer service experience is strongly preferred
