InternClyde Companies, Inc. is offering a part-time internship opportunity for a Facilities Intern. In this role, you will assist in maintaining the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of facilities while gaining hands-on experience in facility management practices and operational procedures.

Responsibilities
Assist in conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and cleanliness standards
Support the implementation of preventive maintenance programs for equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality
Collaborate with vendors and contractors for repair and maintenance projects, including obtaining quotes, scheduling services, and overseeing work quality
Aid in the management of facility-related documentation, including maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records
Assist in coordinating office moves, renovations, and space utilization projects as needed
Support the facilities management team in other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Strong interest in facilities management, operations, or related disciplines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in operation and maintaining a variety of tools including but not limited to power tools, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, pliers, sanders etc
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills
Strategic thinking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Teams, SharePoint, and accounting software
Moderate work; exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally
Able to work in the field with facilities maintenance crew performing manual labor
Stamina to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environments and in different weather conditions
Preferred
Prior internship or work experience in facilities management, construction or a related field is a plus
