Creative Director - Fashion Industry
Rose International is the world's largest intimates' specialty retailer offering a wide assortment of modern, fashion-inspired collections. The Creative Director is responsible for developing and executing culturally relevant seasonal creative concepts, leading the creative vision across concept development, photoshoots, and presentations to engage the Gen Z customer.

Responsibilities
Develop and lead Seasonal Concepts from initial ideation through final execution
Build creative decks for concept development and go-to-market presentations that clearly communicate how the creative connects to product, customer lifestyle and culture
Partner with Marketing, Copy, and Creative Team to align creative storytelling with business objectives
Present work to Leadership and CEO, articulating both creative vision and cultural insight
Own photoshoot preparation, including detailed shot breakdown decks (casting, props, locations, photographers, stylists, and shot lists)
Partner closely with Leadership, Fashion Office, Production, and photoshoot crews to ensure alignment across teams
Travel to shoot locations as needed
Provide on-set art direction to photographers, set design, and models to ensure the final visuals feel aspirational, culturally relevant, and connected to the Gen Z experience
Track captures, manage time on set, support DigiTech needs, and troubleshoot creative challenges in real time
Review selects on set and lead post-shoot reviews
Manage selects, share-outs, and asset organization through Frame.io
Lead retouching workflows, notes, approvals, and print proof reviews
Ensure retouching timelines and quality standards are met across channels while maintaining visual storytelling that resonates with the Gen Z customer
Lead creative execution for go-to-market presentations and launch materials, ensuring product stories are woven into culture-driven narratives
Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, and the broader Creative team (Print, Site, Social) to develop launch-ready assets
Incorporate feedback from cross-functional partners and Leadership ahead of CEO presentations
Deliver final, approved creative that inspires the customer and elevates the brand in culturally relevant ways
Mentor and develop members of the Creative team, fostering a culture of creativity, cultural insight, and thoughtful idea generation
Lead creative reviews and approvals across projects, from concept through in-season deliverables
Manage timelines and workflows for larger creative initiatives
Foster collaboration, clarity, and creative excellence across teams
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience setting and leading creative vision across seasonal campaigns, photoshoots, and multi-channel launches for a fashion, retail, or lifestyle brand or agency
Strong strategic understanding with the ability to evolve creative expression through culturally relevant, Gen Z-forward ideas while protecting brand equity
Demonstrated ability to translate cultural, fashion, and consumer insights—particularly Gen Z behaviors, trends, and aesthetics—into creative strategies that drive both brand relevance and business impact
Proven ability to develop and articulate a modern, culturally fluent point of view, with a strong pulse on emerging trends, platforms, and creative formats shaping Gen Z engagement
Exceptional taste level and creative judgment, with the ability to elevate creative quality across photography, design, copy, social, and storytelling
Highly collaborative leader with deep experience partnering closely with Creative, Social, Design, and Copy teams to deliver cohesive, product-driven, culture-connected ideas
Experience partnering at a senior level with Marketing, Merchandising, Production, and Leadership to align creative vision with commercial and consumer goals
Confident creative leader with a track record of mentoring, developing, and inspiring high-performing, multidisciplinary creative teams
Ability to manage complex timelines, multiple workstreams, and competing priorities while maintaining creative excellence and cultural relevance
Strong executive presence, communication, and presentation skills, with comfort presenting big ideas and strategic narratives to Leadership and CEO-level stakeholders
Strategic yet hands-on approach—equally comfortable shaping overarching concepts and guiding execution to ensure creative integrity at every touchpoint
Proficiency in Adobe Suite; ability to create presentation-ready documents
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strong retail, fashion brand, or agency experience preferred
Motion graphics and video editing experience for web is a plus but not required
