Texell Credit Union, voted the #1 credit union in Central Texas, is looking for a college-level Information Technology Support intern for this coming Summer to make a meaningful impact on their business. The role involves completing projects related to workstation refresh and evaluating Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, as well as assisting with day-to-day IT duties.

Responsibilities

Completing two projects

Project 1: Assist with workstation refresh. Building out new workstations, performing updates, and migrating users to their new systems

Project 2: Evaluating Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and produce a report on feasibility and cost/benefit to Texell in terms of price, maintenance/labor, and technical infrastructure

Exposure to the operations of a financial institution by assisting with basic day-to-day IT duties including onboards/offboards, workstation builds, and helpdesk duties

Working 28 hours per week starting in May, after classes end, through August, before classes begin

Opportunity to support the community by participating in our Texell Serves employee volunteer and service program

Qualification

College credit completionFull-time student statusBachelor's degree programGraduate degree program

Required

Completion of 70 college credit hours (we will accept graduate students as well)

Enrolled as a full-time student in spring of 2026 (12 hours for undergrad, 6 hours for graduate school)

Entering your final year of a bachelor's or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university
