Responsibilities
Developing, documenting, and maintaining software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for complex systems
Develop and integrate software components into fully functional systems, ensuring they meet all performance and safety standards
Creating comprehensive software development and verification plans, executing test procedures, and documenting results to validate system requirements
Serve as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Support the development of software processes, tools, and metrics
Tracking and evaluating team progress to ensure conformance to project plans and industry standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Contribute to system safety and fault tolerance analyses
Stay current with technological advancements to improve system performance
Require a proactive approach to problem-solving, effective communication, and the ability to work under general direction in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or related fields
Minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience or an equivalent combination
At least 5 years of experience with C/C++
Designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with safety-critical software development
Experience with real-time embedded systems
Familiarity with industry standards such as MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, and DO-178C
Active U.S. Secret Clearance
Experience with tools such as Jira, Git, and ClearCase
Strong technical leadership skills
Problem-solving capabilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
