Responsibilities
Assemble electrical and mechanical components using a variety of tools and equipment
Cross‑train in mechanical assembly, electronics, testing, soldering, microscope inspection, and finishing
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers and torque wrenches
Perform hand soldering depending on department needs
Work with adhesives and chemicals during the assembly process
Use computer workstations for documentation, testing, and record‑keeping
Conduct electronic testing on final assemblies using various test instruments
Perform quality control inspections to ensure accuracy and reliability
Lift up to 40 lbs consistently
Qualification
Required
1+ year of assembly or production experience
Proficiency with small screwdrivers, torque wrenches, wiring, and soldering
Ability to read and understand work instructions, blueprints, and schematics
Lift up to 40 lbs consistently
Preferred
Experience with soldering and/or microscope work
Familiarity with schematics, soldering techniques, blueprint reading, and small-part assembly
High school diploma or equivalent
J-STD certification (highly preferred)
Experience with PCB or precision part assembly
